In early September 2020, I made a road trip to the west coast of Vancouver Island, visiting Tofino, Ucluelet, and the Pacific Rim National Park Reserve. My intention was to take a 360 degree multimedia consideration of the area. This follows a brief trip in August 2020 (linked here). A beautiful area. Clearly worth visiting on an extended trip.
I camped at a beach front campsite Bella Pacifica, on MacKenzie beach. It was so wonderful being on the beach.
The media content is a combination of still photos, panorama photos, video, and 360-degree video. Everything on these pages is content I captured. If you want to use any of it, please contact me to discuss licensing.
About the 360 degree photos and videos: You can use the mouse or pointer to scroll/drag around the entire 360-degree view. At any point, you can pause the video and check out the scene in detail at that point.
About the panoramas: The panoramas are multiple images stitched together to form a single image. The Panorama looks best if viewed in full screen. Click on the icon on the upper right hand corner (with 4 arrows pointing outward). To properly view the Panoramas, if you have a touch screen, drag your finger across the screen and the Panorama scrolls around. Same effect using a mouse (click and hold) on a non-touch device. Also, with a phone or a tablet, you should be able to stand, hold the device level with your eyes and turn around. The image should scroll as if you are actually there turning your head.
